Day 1: Departure!
Stop At: Komsomolskaya Square, Moscow Russia
Meeting with your guide at Moscow Yaroslavsky Railway station. Get in the train, settle in your sleeper car, and enjoy a Russian toast to celebrate the beginning of the journey!

Day 2: Discovering Galitch & Russian Izba
Stop At: Kostroma Oblast State Philharmonic Society, Sovetskaya, 58, Kostroma 156005 Russia
Arrival in Galitch city in the early morning.
Breakfast at the museum and city tour.
The museum is located in the former city mayor's 19th century grand house. The breakfast is served in the original dining room. During breakfast you will learn about the history of Galitch and then have a walk around.
Transfer to the Izba

Trail in the nature
The trail is a 7-8km loop, the guests will be accompanied by rangers who will show them some interesting plants and animals' tracks (i.e. the northern variety of wood orchids beavers' dam, lynx, ...) and also an abandoned church. The trail will take you in the forest's lake where you will have an excellent opportunity to swim and sunbath on a waterfront patio. Fishing is possible too!

Trail to Pogorelovo manor
A bus will take you to a point 4 km away from Pogorelovo. From there starts a beautiful walk through the wood and meadow. The trip takes about 4.5 hours door to door.
Picnic
Visit of the Pogorelovo manor Or option for a Quad Expedition or boat trip.
The Pogorelovo manor is also a very nice pre-sovietic isba (19th century), in the same style as yours. You will see the famous house both outside and inside. The remaining residents are two very nice ladies, one of them will happily show you her collection of rustic antiquities, while offering you a tea with a taste at her home-made honey.
Then you will go back to the main izba by bus.
Musical dinner, with a local accordionist playing.
