• 16:00 (approx) Drop off at your accommodation in Chiang Rai cityThe round trip takes roughly 7-8 hours, with around 3 hours in the vehicle, so we use an air-conditioned minivan for this programme. All meals, entrance fees, as well as transfers are included in the fee, unless specified.
Our guides are fully licensed, local hilltribe villagers, employed as part of our project to improve the lives and future of the hilltribe communities in our region. Their knowledge of English is basic, so we appreciate guests asking them questions, and maybe teaching them some English, to give them practice and increase their vocabulary.
Dress code is very important for this trip, as we are visiting Buddhist temples. Some locations will not allow entry if the visitor is not correctly dressed. Please take note of our dress code in the additional info section.

Dress code:
Your programme includes visiting local temples, and it is important not to offend the Buddhist religion or culture. Please ensure that shoulders and cleavage are covered, and the length of trousers/shorts come down to, at least, your knees. Skirts are not advised, but if worn, should be calf length or longer. Flip flops are not appropriate for temples.
