About this activity

You will be picked up from your hotel in Chiang Rai at 9am, and we'll head to authentic Karen hill tribe villages (approx 1.5hrs drive away). Enjoy the scenery as we drive through the lush countryside of Chiang Rai. Your Karen hill tribe guide will take you to meet his family in his village. Enjoy a traditional Karen lunch together (if you're interested in cooking, you can learn and help to cook lunch). There will be the chance to enjoy a short trek, visit to forest and farmland where you can learn about how the Karen live with nature.

We visit in a non-intrusive way and do not fix the time, so we will follow the natural rhythms of village life. We can customize the tour based on your preference and schedule. For example, if you're interested in; trekking, photography, handicrafts, nature (just let us know). You'll also have the chance to spend time with your guide's friends and family in the village, to learn all about fascinating Karen culture and way of life.

We will head back to Chiang Rai city after the amazing tour and drop you off at your hotel
