Day 1 (13-04-2019): CHIANG MAI

Pick up you from Chiang Mai Airport, transfer you to the hotel in Chiang Mai. After that we are ready to enjoy in Songkran festival, you will wet because people will use water in this festival along the way to visit Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara, Wat Phan Tao, Wat Lok Molee Chiangmai. We will wander around until the start of the big Songkran Parade in which thousands of people will participate. The parade takes several hours. There are music bands, colorfully dressed dancers and floats with Buddha images. Bystanders gently pour water over the Buddha images and over the participants. It’s really a spectacle not to be missed. Dinner at Khao Soi Nimman Restaurant or similar.

Day 2 (14-04-2019): CHIANG MAI

After your breakfast, proceed to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is the most important temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The view of Chiang Mai from here is just phenomenal as well.

Visit to Wat Pha Lat, also known as Wat Sakithaka, is a small gem on the map of Chiang Mai. 

After exploring, we alight for lunch at Rabieng Na Maerim Restaurant or similar.

After lunch we proceed to Wat Umong. The Wat Umong is a unique temple in Chiang Mai because of its system of tunnels and its location in the forest near Doi Suthep. The large, serene grounds are often filled with the sounds of the monks chanting. The meditation center hosts meditation classes as well as Dhamma talks.

Visit Wat Phra Singh, is perhaps the second most venerated temple in Chiang Mai after Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. It houses three main structures, the main attraction being the elegantly decorated Lai Kam assembly hall and its restored murals depicting the lives of locals hundreds of years ago.

“Khan Toke Dinner” at the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center is based around the traditional Thai dinner and dancing show. For the Khantoke dinner guests sit on bamboo mats on the floor and are served a range of northern Thai food to share with the table. The food includes a rich chicken curry and a Burmese style pork.

Return to the hotel.

Day 3 (15-04-2019): Return

After your breakfast, check out from the hotel our guide will pick you to Chiang Mai Airport. Before departure to the airport we stop at the Souvenir shop (Chiangmai Vanusanunt).
