Aurangabad, known for its medieval monuments and cultural heritage. It was the seat of the Mughal Empire for a short period. The city boasts of Bibi-ka-Makbara, a tomb that has some resemblance to the Taj Mahal. The importance of Aurangabad is great, owing to its proximity with world heritage sites of Ajanta and Ellora. These sites have Buddhist, Jain and Hindu temples. Aurangabad is also famous for its silk and cotton textiles.

Day 2: In Aurangabad

Stop At: Ajanta Caves Road, Ajanta 431001 India
Ajanta caves : Nestling in an inner fold of the Sahyardi hills, 100 km from Aurangabad in the shape of a mammoth horse- shoe, are the 30 rock-hewn caves of Ajanta. The Caves date from the 2nd century BC. Evening return to Aurangabad and overnight will be at hotel.

Stop At: Ellora Caves, Ellora Cave Rd Ahead of Hiranya Reosrts, Aurangabad 431005 India
Ellora Caves : Impressive in their own right is the rock-hewn temples and monasteries of Ellora. ( Ellora caves are closed on Tuesday )

Day 3: Morning city tour of Aurangabad. Later departure transfer to Airport

Stop At: Panchakki (Water Mill), 1 Km From Main City, Aurangabad India
Panchakki, an ancient water-mill. There are cool underground rooms which served as a hostel for students in the hot summer. Also the shrine of a saint, Baba Shah Musafir

Stop At: Bibi Ka Maqbara, Begumpura Gulistan-e-Jauhar KARACHI, Aurangabad 431004 India
Bibi-ka-Maqbara, the mausoleum of Rabia Daurani, wife of Aurangzeb, patterned on the Taj at Agra.
Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Aurangabad Airport, Jalna Road, Chilkalthana, Aurangabad, Maharashtra 431007, India
Later transfer to airport to connect onward destination flight.
