Cochin :Itinerary : Glimpse of Cochin (4.00 Hrs)
We will pick you from Ships Berth and transfer to Mattancherry to visit the Dutch Palace . The palace is famous for its stunning murals .Next door is the Jewish Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in South India.Also go for a short stroll along the Jew Street/Jew Town shops. Later transfer to Fort Kochi for a short walking tour visiting St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India and is now the burial place of Vasco da Gama. Next we will visit Santa Cruz Basilica, one of the largest churches in India. Stroll along the street of Fort Kochi to see Chinese fishing nets that were introduced by traders in the 14th century. Later transfer to port.
(The Jewish synagogue is closed on Fridays/Saturdays and all Jewish holidays. The Dutch palace is closed on Fridays.)

Meet your guide at the cruise terminal gate. Begin your explorations at the Gateway of India, Mumbai's famous monument. Admire the archway and head around the corner to view the legendary Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. Pass the High Court, Prince of Wales Museum and visit the Chatrapati Shivaji railway station, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here, continue to a viewing point to gaze over the Dhobi Gat, the city’s open-air laundry. Move on to see Mani Bhavan, the former residence of Mahatma Gandhi. Afterward, visit Kamala Nehru Park to enjoy the best panoramas over the city's skyline, and then drive along Marine Drive. Later drop back at the port.
