Stop At: Nizwa Souk, City Center Close to the fort, Nizwa 611 Oman
It's an expansive souq with an array of products. The Souq bustles with traditional shops selling everything from meat, fish, fruits and vegetables to spices, dates, gold and silverware. Nizwa is renowned for its silver jewelry which is considered to be the best in the country. The craftsmen are masters in Khanjar (curved dagger) making, recognized for its distinctive style and patterns. They also make copper ware, coffee pots, swords, leather goods and pottery.

Stop At: Wahiba Sands, Jalan Bani Buhassan Oman
The 'Wahiba Sands' often described as a perfect example of Sand Sea consists of large ranges of dunes running from North to South, some attaining a height of about 100 meters and orange in colour. Our experienced driver will take you on a dune bashing tour through the undulating sand dunes to experience the thrills of dune driving.

Stop At: Wadi Bani Khalid, Road 23 apprx. 40 km from Bidiyyah Muscat-Sur Road, Muscat 113 Oman
Break fast at the camp site. Check out and drive towards Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the beautiful Wadis in the country. You will drive through small villages and towns before arriving at Wadi Bani Khalid. This drive through the mountain offers a panoramic view of the beautiful landscape below. You will pass many pretty villages embedded in the mountains. Here the road winds down to the wadi along side a large, shallow pool fringed with vegetation & ends at a village. We park our vehicles at this point & continue on a short trek to the deep blue pools of the wadi. If you wish you may enjoy a swim in this glorious grace of nature. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes & walking shoes for this trip.

Stop At: Wadi Shab, 50km West of Sur, Sur 411 Oman
This tour along the coast line to Muscat offers breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset pristine beaches. Short visit of Sur town & Dhow Building Yard. Thereafter proceed to Wadi Shaab. Shaab in Arabic literally means 'Ravine between Cliffs "shallow green pools and abundant shade give wadi Shaab a perfect setting for a picnic.

Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area with the town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is possible only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird's eye view of the Nizwa city.

- All Museum / forts visits are subject to change without notice. Museums are normally closed on, Fridays, Saturdays and Public Holidays. Similarly visits to forts may be changed without notice since certain forts are often closed temporarily for renovations on a regular basis.
- VAT
- Oman government is planning to introduce a 5% VAT from 01 Jan 2019 on wards. However, we did not reckon VAT in the above package cost as we are waiting for more clarity on the subject from the concerned authority. We will keep you posted, once the law is enacted by the government.
