2-Night Wahiba Sands and Turtle Beach Tour with Camping

Day 1: At 10 am you will meet your guide at the office in Bediyah. Once there, you can kick-start your day with sugary dates and Arabic coffee. Then, load into your car for a drive down the dunes of Wahiba Sands desert.

Make an extra stop to enjoy a camel ride for an additional cost before hitting the dunes. Along the way there will be plenty of stops for pictures. There will also be a stop to visit a Bedouins family home in the middle of Wahiba Sand. This stop will let you experience true Omani culture and take in the amazing views. Learn a few words of Arabic before picking out your place to set up camp for the night. Rest, settle down, and enjoy a colorful desert sunset.

You will then collect some wood for cooking dinner in the traditional way. After dinner, relax beside the campfire under the millions of stars and fall asleep in peace to the sounds of nature. 

Day 2: Start the day with an early morning breakfast before continuing to Wahiba Sands to reach the last Bedouins village of Quhaid. The settlement is located on the edge of the Arabian Sea. There you will enjoy an authentic lunch. After lunch you will head to the beautiful coastline where you can catch the sun set. Grab your camera to get a few shots of the sky as it changes color with the setting sun. You will set up camp on the beach and then have plenty of time to enjoy the refreshing seawater, or just relax on the sand. You can also watch how the turtles lay their eggs. Then, fall asleep under Arabian stars with a cool breeze of the ocean.

Day 3: In the morning after the breakfast you will have time to relax and enjoy swimming in the Arabian sea. You will then be driven back towards Bediyah. En route you will see all of the coastal villages, including the famous town of Sur with its dhow building yards. If your early morning dip wasn’t enough, you will also have the chance to jump in the crystal clear water of the beautiful Wadi Tiwi, a mountain oasis. Visit a Souk and the Old Village in Ibra before arriving back in Bediyah.
