DAY 1: Welcome to Oman! Your guide will await you at Muscat International airport and will lead you around the most beautiful places in Muscat before checking in at the hotel. Start your Half-Day Muscat City Tour from the Sultan Qaboos Mosque-Grand Mosque, the 5th biggest Mosque in the world (please consider the dress code). The Mosque is open from 0800 HRS till 1100 HRS (except Friday). Royal Opera House (tour services are just available if there is no rehearsal on stage). Visit the Bait Al Baranda Museum. After this you drive along the corniche to Muttrah Souk, .Continue to Al Alam Palace, two Portuguese Forts, Al Mirani and Al Jalali. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Ramada Hotel Muscat.

DAY 2: Before you leave the capital visit the Amouage factory. From there you leave to the Hajjar mountains. Stop in Birkat al Mauz, a beautiful small village, surrounded by date and banana trees. Enjoy the beauty of Jebel Akhdar, which means green mountain. After spending some more time, drive down to Nizwa . Overnight at Alila Hotel Jebel Akhdar.

DAY 3: Leave the mountain for a day excursion of the Nizwa area. First discover the traditional souq, . Leave Nizwa and continue to Bahla, a mystic city with one of the four UNESCO world heritage sites in Oman, Bahla Fort where you have the possibility to walk around the old village and for a photo stop. Last sight of the day is Jabreen castle. Known as the most beautiful castle in Oman you should not miss to visit the fort from inside, listening to the story of its builder Immam Bil’arub bin Sultan and his tragic history.Overnight at Alila Hotel Jebel Akhdar.

DAY 4: leave the interior of Oman. First stop is Al Hamra. In the middle of the old village is a beautiful renovated museum, which gives a glimpse of how Omanis used to live and some of them even live until today. Next stop will be Misfat al Abryeen which exists since ancient time. Your journey will lead you to Wadi Bani Awf. An adventures drive through the mountains with a lot of mesmerizing views and the beautiful village Bilad Said which invites you to walk around their green terrace fields. Overnight at Millenium Mussanah Hotel.

DAY 5: Today’s unique adventure to the Bathina region. First of stop Wadi Abiyad. Depending on the water level you will do some wadi bashing or even be able to have a bath or just have a walk in that area. Then continue to Nakhl has an impressive fort.Drive through the old part of Nakhl, where mud houses are surrounded by gardens and reach Ain Thowarah, the hot spring system of Nahkl. After that proceed to the Hajjar mountains. A small village called Wakan, where locals still living the traditional Omani way,. After the walk you will return to your hotel. Overnight at Millenium Mussanah Hotel.

All Museum / forts visits are subject to change without notice. Museums are normally closed on, Fridays, Saturdays and Public Holidays. Similarly visits to forts may be changed without notice since certain forts are often closed temporarily for renovations on a regular basis.
Oman government is planning to introduce a 5% VAT from 01 Jan 2018 on wards. However, we did not reckon VAT in the above package cost as we are waiting for more clarity on the subject from the concerned authority. We will keep you posted, once the law is enacted by the government.
