Private Tour to Misfat Al Abreyeen and Jebel Shams

You will be picked up from your hotel in Muscat in the morning and taken to Nizwa, approximately a 1.5 hour drive. Once in Nizwa town you will have a short stop to see the local everyday life. You will then move onto the beautiful old village of Misfat Al Breen. This village is perched on the side of a mountain where narrow ancient stone pathways lead you into the valley below. 

You will then drive 40 minutes to visit Wadi Ghul and go to the bottom of Wadi Nakhar where there will be a stop for coffee and dates with the people of Alnakhar village and enjoy viewing the goat hair carpets being woven. The next stop will be Jabal Shams. You will be driven up through the mountains to the peak of Jabal Shams (the Mountain of the Sun), which is the highest peak of the Jabal Al Akhdar mountain range, soaring 3,000 meters above sea level. 

After an exciting day you will be returned to your hotel in Muscat.
