On the way into the desert stop at the women market in Ibra (Wednesdays only). Continue into Wahiba Sands to visit a Bedouin family for coffee and dates or even ride a camel (optional). After a drive through the dunes reach the evergreen valley Wadi Bani Khalid to swim and walk. This most loved wadiof the country features large pools of turquoise and emerald colored water, lined with lush green palm trees inviting you to jump in to refresh.Bring towel and adequate swimwear.
