You drive through the Sumail Gap that divides the Western and Eastern Hajars. Where the ruins of Al Mansfah old mercantile community near Ibra is located. Head towards Wadi Bani Khalid. Drive past the village which has an endless plantations date now, you have Reached the magnificent Wadi. The pools are cool, deep and it's silky water perfect for a long swim. Then proceed to Wahiba, the undulating golden sands. Return to Muscat.
