Japanese Tea Ceremony and Home Cooked Meal with a Japanese Local in Nagoya

Itinerary

This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. You will meet your host Yukie at the Shōnai Ryokuchi Kōen station and you will take a 5 minute walk to her house. Yukie will start the experience with a traditional tea ceremony, while explaining to you more about Japanese food and culture. After which you will join her for a traditional home cooked Japanese meal that may include few dishes from the region of Nagoya – ramen, spicy chicken wings, miso kushikatsu (fried pork with miso) and you will end your meal with cream zenzai (vanilla ice cream and bean paste, often eaten in Nagoya).
