About this activity
This half-day tour will take you to many beautiful locations featuring some of the best Sakura blossom viewing spots around Nagoya.
You will start the tour with a visit to a department store basement floor to purchase lunch or sweets for the picnic.
Next, you will head to the Tsurumai park, featuring 1,200 cherry trees, for enjoying a traditional, Japanese Hanami picnic, eating while looking at blossoming cherry trees. The Tsumurai park has over 100 years of history and is a fusion of European and Japanese style gardens.
After the picnic, you will spend an hour at the Togokusan Fruit Park featuring the Weeping Sakura as well as many orchards and fruit orangeries.
In the evening, you will visit the Nagoya Castle's Spring Festival for viewing over 1,600 Sakura blossoming trees for the evening illumination and for enjoying the food stalls and entertainment.
At the end of the day, the coach will take you back to the original departure location. You may choose to stay at the festival if you prefer.
