Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Sekenani Main Gate, Kenya
You will be picked up from your hotel or guest house at 8.15 a.m and after a short briefing, depart for a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stop of 20 minutes at the View Point for the amazing views of the famous Great Rift Valley which is about 50 minutes drive from Nairobi. You can take as much photos and buy African souvenirs at the gift shop on site as you listen to stories about the formation of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Skirting around Mount Suswa the road first heads north to Maai Mahiu before turning west to Narok where your lunch will be served.
You will take another 2 to 3 hours drive to the Masai Mara, the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. After you check in at your camp, start the evening game drive till sun set to discover the Masai Mara National Reserve. Composed of vast rolling plains and hills, the Masai Mara is dotted with umbrella thorn acacias and thorny thickets. In the Maa language, Mara means "spotted" and may refer to the colourful landscapes. Alternatively the name may refer to the arrival of over two million herbivores during the annual migration (wildebeest, gazelles and zebras). Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara National Reserve
Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Sekenani Main Gate, Kenya
Morning and afternoon game drives. After your breakfast, your day will be spent exploring the Masai Mara in search of the Big 5. You will also enjoy a picnic lunch with the hippos and crocodiles at the Mara River. Covering an area of 1510 km2, the Masai Mara reserve is in fact the extension in Kenyan territory of the vast Serengeti Park in Tanzania. Together, they constitute a huge ecosystem in which animals move freely. All large African animals are present. Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, impala, Kirk’s dik-dik, bushbuck, topi, buffalo, ellipsen waterbuck, eland and giraffe, all are there. Famous for its rich wildlife, the Masai Mara is home to not only the "Big 5" the elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard but also many birds over 500 species of birds have been recorded. Along the rivers, crocodiles and hippos lie in wait. Later return to your camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Pass By: City Centre, Nairobi, Kenya
You'll leave for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive between 6.30 a.m and 8 a.m. then return to the camp for a hot breakfast after which we begin our journey back to Nairobi where the tour ends.
