5 Days Amboseli and Maasai Mara Trip

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli

Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Loitoktok District, Rift Valley, Kenya
Pick up in Nairobi and drive to AA Lodge where you will arrive in the afternoon.

After arriving there it is time to relax and enjoy dinner at the AA Lodge (FullBoard).
Duration: 6 hours

Day 2: Amboseli National Park game drive

Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Loitoktok District, Rift Valley, Kenya
Today you will take breakfast in front of your tent overlooking Amboseli National Park.

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.

After breakfast you will be picked by the guide who will take you for a game drive inside the park. You will enjoy a full day game drive inside the park. The lunch will be a picnic in a nice place with a great view inside the park.

At the end of the afternoon the guide will bring you back to AA lodge in time to enjoy the great sunset before enjoying the great dinner.

Day 3: Amboseli to Maasai Mara

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve Kenya, Narok 00100 Kenya
After an early breakfast you will hit the road towards Narok.

In Narok you will stop for lunch and stretch your legs before taking the last 90km offroad way to Maasai Mara.

You will arrive at the campsite late afternoon.

Here you can just relax and enjoy the great view over Mara or visit the Masai village or make a guided walk in the area to overview the Mara. Overnight at Simba Oryx (FullBoard)

Day 4: Maasai Mara Full game drive

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve Kenya, Narok 00100 Kenya
Today you will an early breakfast before heading into the Mara for a full day Game drive.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe and you will enjoy the flexibility and personalized service with our tour guide that will be unforgettable. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. Masai Mara is situated south-west of Kenya, abundant wildlife and endless plains and delivers many attractions such as the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture to Masai Mara, following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures.

The whole day you will be searching for the big five and all the other animals. The energy taking by the drive will come on the level again after enjoying the picnic lunch somewhere in the park.

At the end of the afternoon, you will go back to the campsite to get some rest before dinner.

Day 5: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve Kenya, Narok 00100 Kenya
The day will start early with a cup of coffee or tea before heading into the park again for the sunrise game drive.

This is the time the animals are waking up hungry, if lucky you can watch the game of animal hunting. After the gamedrive, you will go back to the campsite for a full breakfast before heading the road again.

The driver will bring you back to your accommodation in Nairobi.
