5 Days Governor's Sky Safari traversing Naivasha,Nakuru and Mara - from Nairobi

Day 1: Nairobi to Naivasha (L/D/B)

Our representative driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi Hotel or the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon your arrival. He will brief you about your safari. Soon after, depart north-west for a two-hour's drive to Naivasha, a market town in Nakuru County. Loldia House is set on north-western the shores of Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake fringed by thick papyrus. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch.

The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lake's large hippo population sleep the day out in the shallows.The region surrounding the Lake is well worth exploring. There are two more smaller lakes nearby, Oloidien, and Sonachi, a bright green crater lake.

All meals and overnight at Loldia House or similar (Full board basis).

Day 2: Naivasha to Nakuru (L/D/B)

After your morning breakfast, begin an hour's drive with packed picnic lunch to Nakuru town for a day trip at Lake Nakuru National Park.

Enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. The park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives. Other attractions include Makalia waterfalls, viewpoints such as baboon cliff and lion hill.

It is also famous for its rhinoceros’ sanctuary, a habitat for few white and black rhinos. The park is the ideal place to visit if you are eager to see these beautiful creatures in the wild. Drive back to Naivasha.

Day 3 - 4: Naivasha to Maasai Mara (L/D/B)

Your driver will transfer you to the airstrip to board your flight to Maasai Mara. Upon arrival, the camp's representative will be at hand to receive you. Transfer to the camp to arriving in time for lunch. Embark on an afternoon shared game drive in the camp's 4WD vehicle.

Spend two nights at the camp, enjoying scheduled morning and afternoon game drives in the Mara.

Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness which is an eco-system of Serengeti in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve.

All meals and overnight at Governor's Camp or similar (Full board basis).

Day 5: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Transfer to the airstrip for your fight back to Nairobi's Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, our driver will be at hand to receive and drop you off at Joo Kenyatta International Airport or Nairobi hotel.
