Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Olpejeta – Sweetwaters :(220 km. 3.5 – Approx. 4 hours)

Stop At: Hillpark Olpejeta Mansion, Off Nanyuki-Doldol, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya
Depart Nairobi at 7:30am for northern Kenya towards the Mount Kenya and Ol Pejeta Wildlife Sanctuary.
Duration: 4 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight at your Serena Sweetwaters or similar category tent/camps

Day 2: Ol Pejeta – Lake Naivasha & Great Rift valley (230Km – Approx. 4 hrs)

Stop At: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Road Nakuru County Kenya
Depart Olpejeta / Sweetwaters and proceed to the Lake Naivasha in the Rift valley.

The scenic drive is via Thomson’s Falls where you stop to view the waterfalls.

Afternoon boat safari to view hippos, rich bird life and small game.

Later guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.
Overnight at your Lake Naivasha lodge or tented camp resort
Duration: 4 hours

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara : 240 km (Approx. 5-6 Hrs)

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Sekenani Main Gate, Kenya
Proceed to the famous Masai Mara game reserve on a drive along the floor of the spectacular great rift valley and Masai country.

Afternoon game viewing drive with the opportunity to see wildebeest, herds of buffalo, Lion, Impala, Giraffe, Elephant, Topi, Warthog, Ostrich, Cheetah, Hyena and much more.
Overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.
Duration: 6 hours

Day 4: Masai Mara – full day

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Sekenani Main Gate, Kenya
Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.

It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)
Duration: 8 hours

Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi (265 km – Approx. 6 hrs)

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Sekenani Main Gate, Kenya
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch.

A morning game viewing drive at the Masai Mara.
An extra game drive as you depart the reserve.

Arrive Nairobi in the late afternoon approximately 4:30 pm

Drop off at your Nairobi area hotel / Nairobi airport / residence.
