The tour to Nairobi National Park takes you to this unique wildlife sanctuary only 7 kms from the Nairobi bustling City Centre where you have chance to see 4 of the Big 5 (expect the elephant) against the back drop of the city tall buildings. Nairobi National Park Kenya's first ever National park is a unique and unspoilt wildlife haven within sight of the city's skyline. Rhino, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, lion and plenty of antelopes and gazelles can be seen roaming in this open plains country with a section of highland forest as well as stretches of broken bush country, deep, rocky valleys and gorges with scrub and long grass. Ornithologists catch with over 300 bird species including the Secretary bird, crowned cranes, vultures, peckers and many more.

This was a great tour. Not a Safari but we did get a chance to see Lions,Hippos, Warthogs, Giraffes, and other animals.

We booked this tour because we knew our chances of seeing Rhinos in Nairobi National Park was higher than anywhere else, especially higher than on the Maasai Mara where we were earlier that week. The park did not disappoint. We saw a Black Rhino and several Southern White Rhinos. Don't be afraid of the park $43 park fee, it helps to pay for park rangers to guard the animals from poachers. Well worth every cent!

Went on my safari with Chris. They were very accommodating, especially since I was just by myself. We saw lions within the first 20 minutes of the tour and even beat most of the other groups out there. We didn't get to see rhinos but Chris really went out of his way to try to find one, which I really appreciate. Overall a very pleasant experience!

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide Joseph was very knowledgeable and very prompt. During the safari ride we saw a lioness with her cubs, 3 black rhinos (including a calf), 2 white rhinos, zebras, ostriches, giraffes, warthogs, etc etc. It was an amazing experience- and very well planned.

great tour. Onesmus was an awesome guide and well informed. he knew exactly where to go to see the various kinds of animals. He also took me souvenier shopping to a couple of places afterwards.

My tour was operated by Onesmus at Kenya Safaris and Tours - I can not give a more glowing report of the day! Onesmus picked me up right on time early in the morning, and we were at the gates of the park shortly after. To begin, it was very nice to be in a private vehicle, and it became clear immediately that Onesmus knows what's up with finding animals. Owing partially to good luck, and partially to Onesmus' uncanny intuition, we were the FIRST vehicle to spot a lion, the FIRST vehicle to spot rhinos, and the FIRST vehicle to spot a massive python. It seemed like everywhere we went, we had a private viewing, then Onesmus would let others know where we were and the crowds would descend. I also really appreciated that Onesmus happily agreed to stop for bird sightings, even though he himself is not a birder. He actually asked some great questions about the birds, and even wrote down my responses so that future passengers could benefit. It really was something special. My photos are spectacular, and I can HIGHLY recommend this tour to anybody with utmost confidence!

Great tour our guide Jeremy was fantastic! Didn't get to see the leopard as it was elusive. No Elephants in this park, it is too small but plenty of other animals to see. Be prepared to pay for your park entry with credit card (system is cashless) and for the driver/vehicle with kenyan shillings.
