The guide was trying to everything for us, we saw zebras, buffalo, giraffes and rhinos. But overall the trip was not interesting, it was like a zoo with very few animals.
I was the only one on the tour and Alex doubled as both my driver and guide. Even though the jeep was basic without a radio set or raised roof, I got better vantage points by sticking my torso out the window and Alex asked fellow drivers he passed by for the whereabouts of animals. I even got to see a lion up close, which he says is not that common. Alex accommodated me when I requested not to have lunch at the hotel restaurant which only had a western menu. We detoured for some Ugali. All in all, thanks to Alex's resourcefulness, it was a rather full experience :
