Tree Hotel - Samburu - Baringo - Rift Valley - Masai Mara Circuit

Day 1: Nairobi - Tree Hotel

Drive from Nairobi in the early morning, past the coffee and pineapple plantations before arriving at a Tree Hotel of your choice. Set high above natural salt licks and waterholes.

Day 2: Tree Hotel - Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast, continue your journey north across the equator, gently descending into the arid, desert-like setting of Kenya’s Northern Frontier District, traveling on to your lodge in Samburu Game Reserve.

After lunch, enjoy a thrilling afternoon witnessing some of Kenya’s most rare wildlife species including the Blue-Necked Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe and Grevy’s Zebra. Unwind from a day of excitement with cocktails, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve

Embark on a full day game viewing. As you track Samburu’s ‘Big Five’ and rare wildlife, allow the enormity and quirky charm of this remote corner of Kenya engulf you.

Enjoy the sunset with a drink followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional Activities: Bird walks, Cultural visits and dance and camel rides.

Day 4: Samburu Game Reserve - Lake Baringo

After breakfast and with a picnic lunch, drive across the Northern Frontier District to the wild and beautiful Lake Baringo. Famous for being home to a number of bird species. After a long day of travel, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Optional Activities: Boat Rides, Fishing, Cultural visits , Bird Watching, and Trips to the Hot Geysers

Day 5: Lake Baringo - Great Rift Valley

Continue across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley. You will arrive at your hotel of choice for a peaceful afternoon, away from norm.

OPTIONAL: Take a flight out of Lake Naivasha directly to the Masai Mara

Day 6: Great Rift Valley - Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. This will be followed by a late afternoon game drive exploring the vast savannahs.

Settle into the night. Enjoy your dinner, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Step out into the wild world of Masai Mara, enjoy some magical moments of inspiration and romance, thanks to the park’s endlessly rolling savannahs.

Once back at the lodge, enjoy drinks, a good meal, before a well-deserved night’s rest.

Optional Activities: Hot Air Balloon Safari, Cultural Visit, Night Game Drive and two hour morning/ afternoon nature walks 

Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi

Enjoy early morning game drive, before returning to your lodge for breakfast. Depart for Nairobi, arriving into the city mid/late afternoon.
