Capri and Nerano Private Boat Excursion
Start the day in Capri’s Marina Grande harbor where you’ll meet your local captain and set off for a fun day cruising around the island of Capri and across the Bay of Salerno to Nerano on the Amalfi Coast. We offer many different sizes and styles of boats, from a traditional Sorrentine style wooden open boat to speedboats and larger yachts. This private boat excursion offers the chance to get up close and truly experience this stunning island, with plenty of stops to swim in the turquoise waters and scenic lagoons. While Capri can be quite crowded on the island, by boat you have the chance to see its true beauty.
Cruise around the island to the famous Blue Grotto, with a tiny opening in the rock just large enough for a row-boat to enter. This grotto is known for its electric blue waters that shimmer off the cave walls. Please note that the Blue Grotto can be closed due to sea conditions and there is a charge of €14 per person to enter.
While cruising around Capri you will also see other beautiful grottoes like the Green and White Grottoes. The Green Grotto is a sea-cave with a natural arch while the White Grotto is a cave etched on a cliff with a naturally made rock formation that looks like the Virgin Mary. Of course a cruise around Capri isn’t complete without seeing the iconic Faraglioni rock formation that are a landmark of the island. These three massive rocks are about 100 meters high and one features a hole that small boats can cruise right through!
Head off from Capri over to the Bay of Salerno where you’ll soon catch a glimpse of Nerano, a quiet fishing village set in a lovely bay. Here you’ll find a stunning Blue Flag beach and several outstanding beachside restaurants that are the perfect spot for lunch and a swim.

- NOTE: Our experienced captains monitor sea conditions continuously and are solely responsible for deeming them acceptable or not. If necessary, routes or itineraries can be changed by the captain at any time.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: The boat tour will be refundable only if on the scheduled day the weather is deemed “unsafe” by the boat captain, in which case the provider will offer to either re-schedule or to honor a full refund. If the captain says that the weather and sea conditions are safe to go out, the boat tour is considered firm and non-refundable.
