About this activity
Enjoy a private walking tour of Naples among churches and burial places and discover some of the mysteries and legends of Naples, hidden in ancient churches and cemeteries.
Explore the Church of Gesù Nuovo, a beautiful baroque church renowned for mysteries hidden in its stones and esoteric symbols carved on its stones. Even more mysterious is Sansevero Chapel and its work-of-arts: the Veiled Christ statue, a marble floor decorated as a labyrinth and two replicas of the human circulatory system.
After a morning discovering secret places that only local known, you’ll have a rest on a typical restaurant: taste the authentic Neapolitan pizza and then head to the most charming and secret place of Naples: the Cemetery delle Fontanelle. High piles of skulls, thighbones, shoulders and shinbones fill the caves of these historic underground burial chambers.
The final stop of our tour is the cathedral and the Chapel of San Gennaro, patron saint of Naples. Here, twice a year, the coagulated blood of the saint reportedly liquefies.
Please note: some attractions are far from each other and it becomes necessary to use public transport. Tickets for the local transportation are included

I am so glad we finally took this tour as we saw special art and had experiences we could not have done on our own. Our young Guide was great, friendly - easy to be around and answered all of our questions. He was simply enjoyable.
