This is a great way to taste some of the great food Naples has to offer, all within a 2 hour window. Alex was awesome! She is very knowledgeable, passionate, and fun to have as a guide. She simply walks everyone around to various local spots while filling us with information along the way. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that there is actually TOO MUCH food. So don't eat too much on the first 2-3 stops, or you won't be hungry to enjoy the rest!

It was our first time visiting Italy and we booked this tour just to help us get acclimated with the neighborhood and get lunch. We have been in Italy for over a week now and STILL talk about how much we loved this tour. So highly recommended, tour guide Alex was charismatic, sincere, patient, informative, and his genuine love of Naples was in his every sentence. His story tellingly made all the cultural stops come to life. The route was well planned out and everything we passed Alex had perfectly timed info for. It was a well paced, leisurly stroll to absorb the ambience and a few stops for free time and pictures. The food: each place was well chosen to give you a real feel of the culture, neighboorhood, and of course everything was delicious. Consider it super casual dining, sometimes at an open table, sometimes sharing over a barrell in the street. Large portions, and many stops. We were so full, we couldn t even partake in the gelato. You're not getting a small tasting slice of pizza, but an entire personal pie. This is definitely an eating tour, not just tasting. Alex ordered and paid for all the food, we were responsible for any drinks. There was also a stop at a small lemoncello factory (with a free tasting) and learned step by step how it is prepared.
