Stop At: Tennessee Whiskey Tours, Nashville, TN 37204

This Jack and Back tour picks up near the 5th Avenue Korean Veterans Blvd intersection in downtown Nashville at 9:00am. Your guide will have a cooler on board stocked with ice and water. Feel free to bring your adult beverages of choice. The group will depart promptly at 9:10am for the 1.5 hour trip to Lynchburgh, TN. The trip is approximately one third on the interstate and the other part takes you through the small town of Shelbyville, a town famous for the Tennessee Walking Horse. After strolling through Shelbyville, the remaining thirty minute commute takes you through picturesque rolling hills and farms into Moore County, only one of three counties where distilling was legal in Tennessee until just a few years ago.

Upon arriving at Jack Daniel's distillery, you'll disembark the bus and your guide get you checked-in to the distillery. The tasting tour runs approximately 1.5-hours. You'll have about an hour and a half to peruse the small square of downtown Lynchburg. Don't forget to grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants overlooking the square (at own expense).

Before you leave, take the opportunity to visit the White Rabbit Bottle Shop and purchase some rare and Tennessee-only bottles of Jack Daniel's or check out the selection of branded Jack items at the downtown general store. This tour will depart Lynchburg at 2:30pm and drop off at the starting point at approximately 4:00pm.

The tour was great and the distillery was amazing. We didn’t give 5 stars for the following reasons. The tour bus was a half hour late showing up so we felt rushed once we got to our destination. I also thought it would have been better for the tour company to provide the distillery tickets instead of waiting in line and having to worry about getting a time slot.

I went on this tour with my wife. The bus was comfortable and the driver was very polite and accommodating. The Jack Daniel’s Distillery tour was awesome, our tour guide Anthony was very knowledgeable and polite. Well worth the money, I would definitely do the tour again.

Nice bus ride and Frank was a great driver. We loved seeing the process of making whiskey and Bri was a great guide. She explained in such detail how each of the samples were made and how they'd taste. We did wine tasting also in Lynchburg but didn't think the wine was that great.

Just went to Nashville for the first time and thank goodness one of my days included the bus tour to Jack Daniels. Every part of the tour from getting on the bus to getting off the bus was perfect. I highly recommend going to Jack Daniels this way.

Had a wonderful time touring Jack Daniel's Distillery. Getting to see all the behind the scene was a great experience. Wish we'd had more time to visit the Town Square. It would be perfect if the entire trip was a couple of hours longer.

I am sure this would have been a great time based on other's reviews. Unfortunatley we did not make the trip, and while it was our mistake on timing, the comany hosting the event had the worst customer services when we contacted them. In short, we did not arrive 15 minutes before hand (our fault), but we were at the pick up point at 9 AM. There was no bus as it already departed. We thought how could this be and hung around for 15 minutes afterwards. When I called Nashville Whiskey Tours, I spoke to a person who clearly did not care and basically said the bus left without you (Ya think?) . He did state that we could try to go the next day, but there was no certainty that we would get on the bus. We left it at that and enjoyed Nashville without this particular tour. I would suggest purchasing tickets through the actual site, or even a different company. Mint Julip Tours was more helpful that day, because they took the time to help up us eventhough they didnt have to. I would reccomend them.

Frank was our driver. Bus was slightly tight in terms of leg room but very comfortable other than that. The tour was interesting even if you don't care for whiskey. Tons of history and just a beautiful area in general. You have to eat at the bbq place in the Hollow, can't remember the name of it.

Definitely a well thought out and enjoyable tour. Brian did a great job of explaining the fine details it takes to make Jack Daniels. Also it was interesting to hear how Jack Daniels died.

My wife and I took the bus tour down to the Jack Daniel's distillery last Friday and had an awesome experience. The Drivers were very entertaining and accommodating on the ride down and back. Our tour guide was equally knowledgeable and engaging throughout the tour. I would highly recommend this tour as it was a great experience.

This is not a tour per se. They just take you to the distillery then back. The bus is clean and friendly drivers, but the price does not match the service. I’d recommend just driving oneself.

Our trip from downtown Nashville to Jack Daniels could not have been any better. Our driver was excellent and informative without being overbearing. The convenience of not driving for our trip was great. Highly recommend.

While visiting Nashville and thinking of something to do besides cruising Broadway, our party decided to take a ride out to the Jack Daniels Distillery. The bus provided by aviator was comfortable and the driver very informative. Definitely the way to go if you don’t have your own transportation. Just be aware this only covers transportation and NOT the tour!

I absolutely loved the Jack Daniels distillery. It was fascinating and informative. The reason why I am rating this tour 2 stars is because of the Viator part of the tour. You are transported to the Jack Daniels distillery in a big Ford F750 with no working air conditioning. No tour guide on board to tell you informative stories about the area you are driving through or anything else. You are put on the very hot! bus and that is it until you are there. A few recommendations. If you insist on taking this tour I would rent a car and just drive there instead, the road is easy to navigate and safe, sign up for the 11:15am tour at Jack Daniels. Any tour later than that and you won't have any time left before or after the tour to sight see or browse the shops in town. I think for the price of this tour for one person you can easily rent a car and enjoy your day a million times more.

Great little tour. Bus was clean and guide was friendly and knowledgeable. You need to book your own tour at the distillery, so this is effectively a taxi to Lynchburg. But it's an easy way to get to an amazing part of the country.
