About this activity
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel or; in the case of Cruise Ship passengers, will hold a sign with the lead passenger's name just outside the main exit to the City. Then we take a stroll to the first stop-Parliament Square- where you'll get your first taste of Bahamian pastry upon arriving to the van. The journey down memory lane and tantalizing your taste buds begins thereafter.
We take a five minute drive to the Rum Cake Factory to taste "Bahamas Rum Cake". Upon leaving this factory feast your eyes on the famous Atlantis Hotel located on the left as we head to the Fort Montague. Along the way History will be told in a way that will make you pay keen attention. At the Fort, you will get the story of the battle there and see a beautiful view of Paradise Island culminating with sampling of tropical specialty drinks. The fresh fish market, the Queen's Staircase and The Fort Fincastle are among the remaining sites we will visit.
After tasting Hand-made chocolate, We conclude the tour with the sampling of Bahamian appetizers like conch salad, conch fritters, fried grouper and conch bits. You are returned to the meeting spot

Simone picked us up on time and was soo friendly. She explained the history of the island while making it interesting. We visited a rum cake factory, the beach, a famous fort and ended the day at a traditional fish fry. There were 5 of us so it ended up as a private tour. Once again Viator was a great option!
