About this activity
Very early in the morning, around 6:00am, your private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Lima and transfer you to the bus station, where you will take your first class bus to Ica.
Around noon you will arrive in Ica where you will enjoy lunch and after that, you will be transferred to the Ica Airport where you will board your 1.5 hour flight over the incredible Nazca Lines, a series of ancient geoglyphs in the desert made by the Nazca culture (approx. 400 – 650AD). Nowadays, the reason and for what purpose these geoglyphs were created continues to remain a mystery. During the flight you will be able to see the most fascinating figures such as the monkey, hummingbird, tree, parrot, astronaut, dog, condor among others.
After your flight, we will transfer you back to the bus station for your return to Lima, which departs around 5:00 pm. Upon arrival in Lima you will be transferred and arrive to your hotel around 9:30 pm.

Great tour that gave us fascinating views of the lines in the desert. Hotel pickup went smooth, the bus to and from the lines is ridiculously comfortable entertainment system, wifi, free breakfast / snack on the way back. Once in Ica, the tour guide picked us up with a driver and we made our way to the tiny airport, the guide explained everything and off we went into the air 10 or so people, 2 pilots to see the lines - definitely a once in a lifetime tour!
