Day 1: New Delhi—Varanasi
After meeting your guide at the Varanasi airport, your guide will take you to the lodge or hotel where you will be staying throughout the trip. After that, the guide will take you to the Ghats. Here you can enjoy the aarti, which is a never forgetting experience, which happen on the Ghats. Considering the evening time the view of Ghats is priceless. The traditional culture of Ghats can help in adding positive thoughts and may also give you hope. You will also discover various Hindu and Jain devotees educating the common man regarding the rituals of the religion. It is said that Lord Shiva picked Varanasi as his home. This is the reason why people from all over the world visit Varanasi throughout the year. People assemble there to take bath in the waters of Ganges. For Hindus, it is a heavenly place to worship. After experiencing the 1st-day trip it’s time to rest in Rivas hotel at Varanasi.
Day 2: Varanasi
Now it’s time to set sail on the Ganges, at early morning. You can sail across the Ganges in a pontoon, which is boat made of wooden logs. There is an amazing gold-shrouded sanctuary which is named after Kashi Vishwanath.
After exploring the place for some time, you can have breakfast in a local restaurant. Now the guide will move towards Sarnath, which is 10 km away from Varanasi. It is a place where Buddha gave his first lecture in the Deer Park. Another tourist spot is Dhamek Stupa. While roaming around these historical areas guide will share some important data about Buddhist priests who practiced here in the third century BC. This journey is not possible without watching breathtaking aarti which happens in the evening. It is a view worth missing everything in the world. People feel at peace within viewing this amazing evening aarti that happens on the shore of the Ganges. The burning oil lights wave over the Ganges is something that cannot be described by words. The ringing of bells with lightening features is really amazing. You will get back to the hotel to spend the night.
After this, you will be dropped back to Varanasi Airport to board the flight for On wards destination.
