20 days - Rajasthan and Paradish tour. We were met at Delhi international airport by Abyss representative as planned, escorted to the private car, driven straight to hotel in Khampur Raya, Delhi Every thing was professionally organised. Mr Tanweer a second representative from Abyss was already in the hotel lobby to welcome us and carry on with the check in process, in few minutes,we were relaxing in our room for an hour or so before being escorted again to the nearby Abyss office. Inter City hotel is a modest hotel in the densely populated district of Khampur, however, the room was far above basic, spacious and comfortable enough for one night before starting our long Rajasthan tour. Upon arriving to the Abyss office, we were greeted again with cold drinks, and briefed by Mr Abid with full details about our tour inclusions, exclusions ,and what to expect. .etc.. Mr Abid briefing was comprehensive and extremely useful. Our only concern was about the weather! Temperature was already approaching the 40sC, and expected to even exceed that in Rajasthan. Mr Abid was more understanding of that issue, he proposed to compress the tour to 15 days so we can cool down in Kashmir for 5 days in a house boat at the foot of Hamalay mountains! at some extra costs just to cover the flights to Srinagar . We didn't hesitate to accept his suggestion, as the costs were quiet resonable and providing a great opportunity to visit that beautiful seinic state of Kashmir. The tour was just brilliant and full of excitements. Starting with Delhi day 1, followed by long drive to Pushkar , Udaipur , Jodhpur, Jaipur, Agra, then night train to Vernassi, where we were met at the station with another driver, to look after us for 2 nights until we were dropped at the airport to fly to Srinagar via Delhi, to cool down and conclude our North India tour. The tour is mostly educational. It provides massive knowledge of the Indian heritage and culture. It is not as exhausting as it sounds. There was always enough time to rest and relax by the pool in most of the assigned hotels. I would highly recommend to discuss the assigned hotels before starting the tour, upgrades are always possible and quiet affordable. The Abyss representatives were in a daily basis follow up with us to instantly sort out any hickups we encounter. I wouldn't recommend the night train from Agra to Varanasi the sevice and equally the trains are unreliable and very exhausting . The car and the driver were avaliable at our disposal for the whole tour. We were complemented with bottles of cold water every day. Mr Sang the driver, was always offering to take us to nice restaurants for lunches or dinners local or international as we opt. It was a nice touch from the Company to offer to store our luggage at their premises during the tour time, it was a real bless to move around with just two pieces of hand luggage 6 different hotels, 3 domestic flights, and sleeper train All in all, the tour was excellent for its accuracy and organisation. I have no hesitation to recommend for all those who are interested in a real taste of the Indian heritage, history, and architecture. I deeply appreciate all the efforts of Abyss tours to bring this tour up to this standard of professionalism and to give us such great memorable time. A very special thanks to the Mr Abid the company director.
