Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Pass By: Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, Delhi 110037, India
On your arrival at the Delhi Airport / Railway Station, meet our tour representative who will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and rest for some time.

Day 2: Delhi - Agra

Stop At: Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi Road, New Delhi 110002 India
Post Breakfast get ready for an Old Delhi tour. We start with visiting the Raj Ghat, the cremation place for Mahatma Gandhi. Visit the India Gate, a war memorial located astride the Rajpath, on the eastern edge of the "ceremonial axis" of New Delhi, India, formerly called Kingsway. Drive past the President House, the official residence of President of India.

Later visit the largest mosque in India known as Jama Masjid. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jhan between 1644 and 1656, the mosque has three enormous gates, four towers and two 40 m high minarets and is constructed of strips of red sandstone and white marble. The courtyard has the capcity to accommodate more than 25000 people at one time.

Later, take a rickshaw ride in narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, the old bazaar (markets) of Delhi. From here head to the Red Fort , built by emperor Shah Jahan in 17th century & a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, the memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun , built in 16th century & renowned as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monument is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun that was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum. Later visit the Qutub Minar, the tallest minaret of world & a perfect example of Indo-Islamic architecture & listed in UNESCO’s world heritage site. The tower is 73 m-high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. The tower has five distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone; the fourth and fifth storeys are of marble and sandstone. The Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque in the Qutub is the first mosque to be built in India.

Further in time drive to Agra, the home of the magnificent Taj Mahal.

Day 3: Agra - Jaipur en-route Fatehpur Sikri

Stop At: Taj Mahal, Agra 282001 India
Around Sunrise, visit the Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), to witness the one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the symbol of love the Taj Mahal. Constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, it took 22 years for the Taj Mahal to get completed. Later after breakfast check out from hotel & opt for sightseeing of Agra Fort, built during 16th century, that stands on the banks of river Yamuna. This colossal structure is a mix of red sandstone part made by Emperor Akbar, Shah Jahan and later Aurangzeb.

Later, drive to Jaipur and enroute at Fatehpur Sikri , known as Ghost Capital. Visit the tomb of Salim Chishti, Akbar’s residential complex.

Later drive to Jaipur.

Day 4: Jaipur

Stop At: Amber Fort Palace, Jaipur 302021 India
Post breakfast visit the Amber Fort. The magnificent fort is located atop the Aravali Hills. Enjoy an Jeep Ride while you enter the fort. This magnificent red sandstone and marble structure was built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh. In the afternoon go for a city tour covering sites like the City Palace- a colossal Rajput and Mughal structure with an array of gardens, courtyards and buildings including Chandra Mahal which is the current residence of the the present Maharajah and royal family. Visit the Palace of Winds known as the Hawa Mahal , a five storied building built in 1799 to enable the royal ladies to view the outside life & world.

Later visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Royal Observatory also known as the Jantar Mantar – that is said to the largest astronomical observatory built in the first half of the 18th century by Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh.

Visit Chokhi Dhani, and enjoy the evening dinner at a village resort with typical Rajasthani experience.

Day 5: Jaipur - Delhi

Pass By: Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, Delhi 110037, India
Check out from hotel in Jaipur & drive to Delhi.

Arrive & transfer to Delhi International Airport to board flight for onward journey.
