A Day at Taj

Explore Agra and its unique cultural and heritage sites on a full-day excursion from Delhi. Traveling by car with driver through x-press high way, you will arrive in Agra in roughly 3 hours and have an entire day to explore.

Take a Tonga ride (a decorated horse-drawn carriage) in Agra is sheer fun and frolic all through. This ride will transport you to the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. The sight of the Taj awash with the subtle pinks of dawn is an unforgettable sight.

Later, you will be guided to the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Akbar in 1566. This majestic red-sandstone fort stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and is made up of palaces, audience halls, and grand mosques.

Afterwards, enjoy free time for shopping and explore the city's rich heritage of handicrafts and perhaps pick out a souvenir or 2.

Proceed to Sikandra, home to Akbar's tomb. This grand monument was started by Akbar and completed by his son Jahangir. The mausoleum was made in the Spartan style of Timurid architecture and Akbar's son Jahangir added more decorative designs to the mausoleum.
