A Day in Agra from Delhi

The Plan:

05:15: Our representative will meet you at the airport/railway station or pre booked hotel, Breakfast On board Train.

07:00 Hrs: Our representative will receive you from your hotel and transfer to railway station to board the super-fast AC train to Agra.

08:10 Hrs: Your train Gatimaan Express departs H. Nizamuddin, Delhi. Tea & Breakfast will be served in the train.

09:50 Hrs: On arrival Agra, pickup from Railway Station by our representative and guide.

10:00 Hrs: Visit Taj Mahal Visit the Taj Mahal one of the seven wonders of the world. According to legend, Emperor Shahjehan was so grief-stricken at the death of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, that he decided to erect a memorial to her which would be unsurpassed in beauty and grandeur. With a huge labor force of 20,000 people, it took 21 long years to complete this masterpiece.

12:00 Hrs: Visit Agra Fort Visit Agra Fort a vast museum of interesting buildings, started by Akbar. Each successive Mughal Emperor right up to Aurangzeb contributed something. Construction of the Agra Fort started in 1565 and was completed in 1573.

13:30 Hrs: After the end of fort moving towards lunch at a multi-cuisine air conditioned restaurant providing you different flours of this city.

14:30 Hrs:Visit to Itimad Ud Daulah (Mini Taj). Before the Taj Mahal built, its design was already standing in the form of Itmad Ud Daulah's Tomb. Built to represent a silver jewel box in marble, this mausoleum houses the body of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father of the Mughal Empress Noor Jahan.

16:00 Hrs: Evening free to explore the Bazaar of Agra. One can buy most famous marble handicraft there.

17:00 Hrs: Drive to Agra Cantt Transfer to Railway Station to board your train to Delhi.

17:50 Hrs: Gatimaan Express train departs Agra.

19:30 Hrs: Arrive Delhi. Our representative will receive and transfer you to hotel / airport.
