Every day, the Taj receives a huge influx of tourists from all over the globe.
In the latter half of our sightseeing trip, guests would be admiring the majestic Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula’s tomb. Both of these structures hold great significance for the city’s heritage. Day 3: Agra - Jaipur
Your driver and guide will meet you at your hotel by 6:00am to take you for a sunrise view of the Taj Mahal. A dawn visit to the fabled Taj Mahal to witness the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this brilliant white marble building. Later, return back to our hotel for breakfast. Afterward, take a ride to the massive Agra Fort. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and central Asian architectural styles, built by Emperor Akbar. After, depart for Jaipur, upon arrival check in to the hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur - Delhi
After Breakfast, Visit Amber Fort followed by the tour of the City Palace containing an interesting museum of regal attire. Just over the road is Jantar Mantar, an observatory of astronomy built by Jai Singh in 1728. At first glance, Jantar Mantar resembles a sculpture park, though in fact, each construction has a specific scientific purpose. Some measure the positions of stars, whilst others calculate eclipses, the lunar calendar and simply the time of day. Even today, most of the constructions remain accurate!
In the Pink City of Jaipur be sure to explore the Johari Bazaar and other bazaars, where you can buy jootis (traditional Rajasthani curled shoes) Jaipur’s famous blue pottery, textiles and handicrafts.
Post -Lunch, you would be driven back to Delhi and further transferred to airport/railway station for the onward journey back home.
