Itinerary

Diwali, the festival of lights is celebrated around the world. Houses, shops and public places are decorated with flowers and small earthen oil lamps called Diyas. Fireworks are also a big part of the Diwali celebrations, but safety aspects should be kept in mind during the celebration. It will be quite interesting to witness and celebrate Diwali with a local family like a family member.
You will be picked up from your desired location from Delhi and driven to a local home in Delhi. You will be the part of arrangements, cooking, decorating house with flowers and lamps. Learn one Indian snack for the evening tea. 1 – 2 dishes for dinner. Witness the traditional celebration in the house and see the Diwali prayer in a nearby temple. Have a kind of high tea in the afternoon with lots of Indian snacks and sweets. Get some henna designs on your beautiful hands. You can also choose to wear Indian traditional clothes for the evening. 3 -4 course dinner will be served. You can add your ideas to the celebration. A gift will be presented to you for the lifelong memory and as a Diwali tradition. Enjoy firework in the neighborhood. Try some light firework yourself just to get the real feel.
