About this activity
Day 1:Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi International Airport, meet our representative and get transferred to hotel. Check in and relax. Dinner and overnight in Delhi.
Day 2:Delhi –Leh (By Flight)
Post breakfast, transfer to airport to take a flight to Leh (Flight on your own expense). On arrival at Leh Airport, meet our company representative and get escorted to hotel. Check-in and relax. Dinner and overnight in Leh.
(Travelling to Leh requires your body to adjust or acclimatize to the high altitude terrain. Hence, we advise you to rest for the entire time, after reaching Leh, until the next day.)
Day 3:Leh
Post breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour to Leh. Visit Hall of Fame built in memory of the brave soldiers who lost their lives fighting for India at the Indo-Pakistan war, Sangam View Point- where River Indus and River Zansakr meets, Patthar Sahib Gurdwara - the famous Sikh shrine, Magnetic Hill. Later, return to Leh, and in the evening, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Leh Market. Dinner and overnight in Leh.
Day 4:Leh –Khardungla Pass –Nubra Valley
Post breakfast, check-out and drive to Nubra Valley. Enroute visit Khardungla Pass (17,852 Ft), the world’s highest motorable pass. It is the gateway to Shyok and Nubra valleys. Continue journey to Nubra, and upon arrival, check-in at Hotel / Luxury Camp at Hunder. Later enjoy a round of Double-humped Bactrian Camel ride (on own expense) at the sands.Dinner and overnight in Nubra Valley.
Day 5:Nubra Valley - Khardung La - Leh
Post breakfast, check out and proceed towards Leh. En route stop at Diskit village and visit local monastery. Continue driving to Leh via Khardung La. Arrive and check in. Dinner and overnight in Leh.
Day 6 :Leh –Pangong Lake
Post breakfast, check-out and drive to Pangong via Changla pass (17,350 ft.) World’s third highest motorable pass. Arrive Pangong Lake, check-in at Luxury Camp. Dinner and overnight in Pangong Lake
Day 7:Pangong Lake –Leh
Watch mesmerizing Sunrise over The Pangong Lake (14,000 Ft). Post breakfast, leave for Leh via Changla. En route stop at Shey Palace and Monastery; Hemis Monastery- re-established by King Sengge Namgyal in 1672. The monastery also holds the popular annual Hemis Festival in June; and Thiksey Monastery- a striking resemblance to the Lhasa’s Potala Palace, it exhibits a gold-plated statue of Lord Buddha, called the Maitreya Buddha, which is the largest statue in Ladakh. It houses around 120 monks. Also, visit Sindhu Ghat.Resuming drive, arrive in Leh. Dinner and overnight in Leh.
Day 8:Leh – Delhi (By Flight) -Depart From Delhi
Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Leh Airport to board a flight to Delhi (Flight on your own expense).On arrival, connect a flight to your onward journey.
