About this activity

Day 1 Arrive Delhi

On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Delhi

Start your tour with the visit of Rajghat where lay the remains of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Admire Red Fort from outside and explore narrow lanes and colourful market of Old Delhi on rickshaw. In New Delhi visit the splendid Humayun’s Tomb, the first significant example of Mughal architecture in India. Also visit The Qutub complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 3 Delhi - Jaipur

Drive to Jaipur.

Day 4 Jaipur

Today morning visit 16th century hilltop Amber Fort. Next visit the 18th century imposing City Palace complex and Jantar Mantar.

Day 5 Jaipur - Agra

Drive to Agra, on the way visit Fathepur Sikri which is home to several marvellous structures of Mughal Era.

Day 6 Agra

The day will start with the visit of Taj Mahal, a UNESCO world heritage site (closed on Friday). Get wonder-struck at the awe-inspiring architecture of the Agra Fort. Also visit exquisite of Itmad ud Daulah.

Day 7 Agra - Orchha – Khajuraho

This morning board express train to Jhansi, arrive and visit famous Orchha Fort Complex which is home to several ancient monuments like palaces, forts and temples. Later drive to Khajuraho.

Day 8 Khajuraho

Khajuraho is famous for its ancient temples that depict some of the finest art in the world. The temples depict various forms like meditation, spiritual teachings, kinship, wrestling, royalty and most significantly, erotic art.

Day 9 Khajuraho - Allahabad

Today morning drive to Allahabad, venue of world-famous Ardha Kumbh Mela. It is one of the world's largest religious gathering where Hindus and people from different religion from various parts of country and across the world gather to bathe in the sacred river. Arrive and check in at hotel. The remaining day is free to explore the Kumbh Mela.

Day 10 & 11 Allahabad

Full day to explore the Kumbh Mela.

Day 12 Allahabad - Varanasi

Drive to Varanasi, arrive and check in at your hotel. Later in the evening witness aarti (fire ceremony) on the steps of the River Ganges. .

Day 13 Varanasi

Enjoy early morning sunrise cruise on River Ganges to observe locals performing rituals, worshiping sun and bathing in River Ganges. Return back to your hotel for sumptuous breakfast. Later visit Sarnath known as the place where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon after attaining the enlightenment at Bodh Gaya. Return back to the city to visit several temples. 

Day 14 Varanasi - Delhi

Today you will be transferred to Varanasi airport where your tour concludes.
