Har ki Pauri is a very famous ghat in Haridwar. Har means Lord Shiva, Ki means of and Pauri means Steps; it is believed that Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu visited Brahmakund in Vedic Times at Har Ki Pauri. Thousands of people visit this site and take a dip in the holy water.

Day 2: Haridwar and Rishikesh Sightseeing

Stop At: Shri Mata Mansa Devi Mandir, Haridwar, Haridwar, Uttarakhand 249401, India
Hindu Temple dedicated to Goddess Mansa, Mansa Devi Temple is located atop a hill. This temple is amongst three temples Haridwar known to fulfill the desires of worshippers.

Dedicated to Chandi Devi goddess, Chandi Devi Temple is situated atop Neel Parvat. This temple is also one of the two temples known to fulfill the desires of the worshippers.

Stop At: Daksh Mahadev Temple, Near Kankhal Town 6 Km From Haridwar, Haridwar India
This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in the town of Kanhal. Named after King Daksha Prajapati, one of the fourteen Prajapatis, the temple is a pilgrimage site for devotees on Maha Shivratri.

An architectural, humanitarian and religious marvel, Pawan Dham is one of the oldest temples of India. It is a beautiful place to visit and will surely give you peace of mind.

Stop At: Laxman Jhula, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India
Across the River Ganges, Laxman Jhula is a suspension bridge. The bridge Connects two villages Tapovan and Jonk. It is a pedestrian bridge also used by motorbikes.
