Village and forest tour

Itinerary

After pick up from the Arjangarh metro station, we will drive to Mangar Bani (Approx 45 mins drive). Here we first visit a hermitage and meet the hermit, who will share his words of wisdom and the way of life. We will park the car here and then proceed on an approx 15 mins trek to Gudariya Baba temple. Locals believe that his soul protects the sacred forest. On the way, we will spot different kinds of birds including peacock and gorgeous Indian Pitta - an elusive bird that inhabits scrub jungle. At the temple, we will be offering and lighting an earthen lamp. Post this we trek back to the hermitage and enjoy healthy organic food (vegetarian). Post this we will visit the Mangar village. Here we will be stopping the car at several places so that the guest can enjoy and appreciate the simple village life. Post this we will head back to the Arjangarh metro station. The whole end to end experience will take approx 4 hours.
