About this activity
Apart from Taj and Fort we have to show Unexplored, The Hidden Gems of Agra.
Mehtab Bagh (Garden) :
Also wrongly known as Black Taj which Emperor Shah Jahan wanted to built for himself. This park originally
built by Emperor Babur as the last in a series of 11 parks on the Yamuna’s east bank, long before the Taj was conceived, fell into disrepair until it was little more than a huge mound of sand. To protect the Taj from the erosive effects of the sand blown across the river, the park was reconstructed in recent years and is now one the best places to view the Taj Mahal. The gardens & fountains in the Taj Mahal are perfectly aligned with the ones here.
Ram Bagh
The Ram Bagh is the oldest Mughal Garden in India, originally built by the Mughal Emperor Babur in 1528,
located about five kilometers northeast of the Taj Mahal in Agra. The garden is a Persian garden, where
pathways and canals divide the garden to represent the Islamic ideal of paradise, an abundant garden through
which rivers flow. The garden has numerous water courses and fountains. The name is a corruption of the
Persian Aaram Bagh meaning 'Garden of Rest'.
Korai Village:
Korai Village is a tribal village situated at the distance of about 38 km from Agra. Here you will be experiencing
the real rural India and you will also come across their daily routine and work they do. Explore the real life of
tribal people in this place. You will get to interact with the people around here and will also experience their
lifestyle. Explore their huts, the way they cook food and the way they procure their water. Spend your rest of
the day with the villagers. You will also love to see monkey dancing and the famous magic tricks by the
Magician.
