8.30 AM : PICK UP FROM THE HOTEL
Our Guide and Driver will come and pick you up from your hotel and You will be Going Towards Qutub Minar.
10.00 AM: VISIT OF QUTUB MINAR (A Unesco World Heritage Site)
The buildings in this complex, 15 km south of Delhi, date from the onset of Muslim rule in India. The Qutab Minar itself is a soaring tower of victory, whose construction was commenced in 1193, immediately after the defeat of the last Hindu Kingdom in Delhi. It is nearly 73 metres high and tapers from a 15 Meter diameter base to just 2.5 metres at the top. The tower has five distinct stories, each marked by a projecting balcony. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone while the fourth and fifth stories are made of marble.
12.00 PM : VISIT OF INDIA GATE AND OTHER COLONIAL BUILDINGS
The national monument of India, Constructed in memory of 90,000 soldiers of British-Indian army who fought in the Second World War, the structure was built under the leadership of Sir Edwin Lutyens. The architectural complex is made of red stone and granite. Drive Past President’s House The official residence of President of India, the building is another attraction of the New Delhi. It has remained home to the former British Viceroy of India till 1950. Drive Past Parliament House A cirular colonnaded building. It also houses ministerial offices, numerous committee rooms and an excellent library as well. Conceived in the Imperial Style, the Parliament House consists of an open verandah with 144 columns.
1:30 PM : LUNCH TIME : Time for Lunch, Lunch will be provided at one of the best Local Restaurant.
2:30 PM : VISIT OF HAMANYU’S TOMB
Visit Humayun’s Tomb (A Unesco World Heritage Site) The tomb is an early example of Mughal architecture. Humayun’s senior wife Haji Begum had it built in the middle of the 16th century. Haji Begum too was buried in the tomb. The garden has other tombs including that of Humayun’s barber and the Tomb of Isa Khan. The latter is a good example of Lodi architecture. The terraces of the tomb provide an excellent view of the surrounding city.
4.00 PM : TIME FOR SHOPPING
India’s capital city is among the most exciting places to buy textiles (fabric as well as ready to wear clothes), jewellery, shoes, bags, leather, carpets, handicrafts, traditional and contemporary Indian.
6.00 PM : DROP AT THE HOTEL
In the Evening, after Completion of Delhi Sight Seeing, Our Chauffer dropping back to hotel or your desired destination in Delhi.
