Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Agra by Train and 4-Hrs drive to Jaipur (B)

Pass By: India Gate, Near Connaught Place New Delhi, New Delhi 110001 India
Pickup at 5am from your hotel or airport in Delhi, and transfer to New Delhi Railway Station where you board your Superfast train to city of the Taj Mahal, Agra.

Your super-fast train Shatabdi Exp (Train No. 12002) departs at 6am from New Delhi Railway Station (Breakfast will be served onboard, while you enjoy the countryside during the 2-hour trip)

Arrival at 8am in Agra Railway Station you will be met by your representative/driver at the main exit gate with your name placard. First we visit the wonderful Taj Mahal, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and the world's best-known tomb, standing testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and his queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays)

Next we visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. and made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques, and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

Lunch break, we provide a lunch at a local restaurant (own expense)

After lunch break you may wish to enjoy shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are leatherware, brassiere, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery work.

After a memorable day leave for drive to the old walled city of Jaipur – Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this ‘pink city’ is meticulously constructed on the lines of the Shilpa – Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture.

Day 2: Jaipur City Tour and Train to Delhi (B)

Pass By: Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind, Hawa Mahal Tripolia Bazaar Road Badi Choupad, Jaipur 302002 India
After breakfast we visit the Amber Fort, which used to be the capital of the Kachhwaha clan, till Jaipur was made the official capital in 1727.

After Amber Fort drive back to city we stop at Jal Mahal as knows as Water Palace and Hawa Mahal for photo, built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the most stunning sight in the city of Jaipur.

Lunch break, we provide a lunch at a local restaurant (own expense)

Next we visit City Palace, the principle residence of the ruling family and is known for its stunning architecture. Part of it now converted into a magnificent museum. Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory raised in the 18th century.

After Jaipur sightseeing we enjoy a shopping tour in Jaipur, an excellent place to shop and visit cottage industry specializing in hand-woven carpets and textiles. Witness how silk carpets are handmade. Some of the most popular items are precious gemstones, silver jewelry, bangles, clothes, blue pottery, and textiles.

After a memorable day transfer to the Jaipur railway station and your train depart at 5:20pm for New Delhi.

Train arrives at 10:40pm New Delhi railway station and be dropped off at your hotel in Delhi.
