About this activity
Day 1
08:30 a.m. Meet your private chauffeur at your Delhi hotel. After breakfast, drive to Agra, which is approx. 5 hours away from Delhi. On arrival in Agra, transfer to your hotel (booked by you). After lunch you will met your professional tour guide and proceed to visit Taj Mahal, which was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 AD for his beloved queen, Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Later, visit Agra Fort: The red sandstone structure is surrounded by chahar-bagh, a four-square formal garden. Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone.
After Agra Fort we will visit Baby Taj or the Itmad-Ud-Ullah – The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj. One of the most beautiful Mughal tombs, Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb was built by Noor Jahan, the Empress of Jahangir for her father in 1628.
Note: Taj Mahal is closed for visitors on Friday. In case you reach Agra on Friday, we will arrange your sightseeing tour to the Taj on the next morning.
Day 2: Jaipur - en route visit to Fatehpur Sikri
Breakfast and drive to Jaipur. En route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri - also known as the ghost city - is a major UNESCO World Heritage Site. The former Mughal Emperor Akbar built this lofty complex of monuments and temples. Admire the marvellous treasures with elegant designs and calligraphy. The master entrance to this city is guarded by the ancient marvel “Buland Darwaja”, which along with Tomb of Shaikh Salim Chisti, Birbal Bhawan give you enough to explore! Later, continue drive to Jaipur. Reach Jaipur and enjoy an evening visit to the Laksminarayan Temple for evening Aarti ceremony. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 3: Jaipur - the pink city guided tour
Entitled as the “Pink City”, Jaipur lies in the heart of India’s most charming state, Rajasthan. Starting from the massive Amber Fort (you will reach the Fort in a princely style aboard a fully decorated elephant), there are many picturesque locations in Jaipur that are worth your time. Visit Jantar Mantar – world’s largest stone observatory, Hawa Mahal – The Palace of Winds, Albert Hall, City Palace, Jaigarh and Nahargarh Forts. Enjoy a rickshaw ride or just walk through the handicrafts market in the old city. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day4: Transfer to Delhi and end of tour
Drive to Delhi. Reach and enjoy last minute shopping. Transferred to the international airport to take flight back home with sweet memories of the tour.
