Day 02 : Jaipur / Delhi
Morning visit the Amber Fort in the Aravali Hills, which is a great example of Rajput (Medieval Hindu) style architecture. Later, Sawai Jai Singh changed the capital to Jaipur. The Amber fort was one of the popular sights of attraction in Jaipur, where the tourists can enjoy Amber fort to the hilltop. By standing in the hill top the tourist can see the excellent views of Maota Lake. Some of the fascinating sightseeing inside the fort includes Raj Mahal, Suraj Pol, Diwan-I-Aam, Ganesh Pol, Jai Mandir, Sohag Mandir, Singh Pol, Shila Mata temple, and Palace of Man Singh. Afterwards go for sightseeing of Jaipur city visiting City Palace, Jantar Mantar {Observatory}, Hawa Mahal {Palace on wind} etc. Afternoon drive back to Delhi. Shortly after booking this tour we were contacted via WhatsApp by Sengar World Travels, which was very reassuring.Jaipur is definitely worthwhile visiting, with the Amber Fort a must see.This being said "the luxurious ride" to Jaipur as described for this tour is an overstatement. You go there in a car, no more no less. The visit to the "City Palace" is largely overpriced. We ended up seeing almost everything in one day instead of two since the guide, although a very good one, didn't follow the schedule as described. Due to ambiguity in the description on the Viator-website a hotel still needed to be arranged in the afternoon after arrival in Jaipur.
