After a century from its construction Humayun’s tomb inspired the construction of the more famous Taj Mahal.The Guest has to pay for the entrance at Humayun's Tomb (Rs. 500 for foreigners). You also need to carry an id with you.

In 1936, the place was landscaped and a garden was created, It was named, Lady willingdon Garden after the wife of then governor general of India. Post Independence, it was renamed after lodhi dynasty whose remains still adorn it. A favourite among filmmakers to depict delhi at times often referred as the lungs of delhi. If you are into Bollywood movies, you would have seen this place before.
