This tour was an interesting way to see some of the highlights of Delhi. I think with the right guide, the tour would be a must. Let me start with the positive and first say that our driver was great. He had a wonderful attitude and did all he could to make our day complete when our guide's services were lacking. The vehicle itself was clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The tour started and ended on time. Our guide was an independent contractor, Sanjeev. His services were lacking. Some examples would be when we were driving around the city, which is a lot of the day, he would read his newspaper and he refused to take photographs of us at the stops. As I previously said, the driver stepped in and would point things out in the vehicle and chat with us when the guide was not present. Sanjeev also made the end of the tour extremely awkward regarding the tip. He told us to have our money ready for the golden handshake at the last stop and reminded us of this a few times. Then when we were in the temple, he abruptly stopped us and told us we needed to exchange money there because it was safer. We were planning on tipping, but the multiple references to it and the clear expectation from him made the situation uncomfortable.
