Day 7: Varanasi (Arrival)

Arrive at Varanasi, and transfer to hotel. Later, proceed to Sarnath, the sacred Buddhist site where Lord Buddha had first preached after attaining enlightenment. See ancient historical ruins here. Afterwards, return to Varanasi and proceed toward the ghats riding on a cycle rickshaw, passing through the narrow lanes and bustling bazaars of the city.

Stop At: Ganga Aarti, Dashashwamedh ghat Varanasi Dashashwamedh ghat Road, Varanasi India
Arrive at the ghat and take a short boat ride to watch the evening Ganga Aarti Ceremony (Hindu prayer of river Ganges at sunset). Return to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Varanasi

Stop At: Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple (Golden Temple), Lahori Tola, Varanasi 221001 India
At dawn, proceed for a boat ride on the Ganges. See the Bathing Ghats, Cremation Ghats among many others by the riverside. After the ride, walking through the narrow lanes of Varanasi city visit the Kashi Viashwanath Temple.
