Emperor Shah Jahan built this exquisite white marble mausoleum for his favourite queen Mumtaz Mahal. The monument was commissioned in 1631 and took 20,000 artisans, 22 years to complete. Witness the dramatic interplay of light as the sun rises and casts its golden rays over the pearl white tomb, recreating the magic of the Taj. Once you have taken some memorising morning photos, there is time to explore the Taj .

Agra Fort, An outstanding example of Mughal architecture and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. Shah Jahan, the creator of Taj, spent the last years of his life time imprisonment awarded by his son Aurangzeb, here. It was built in the late 1560`s by their predecessor, Akbar, with later embellishments by Jahangir, his son, and Shah Jahan, his grandson.

After lunch, we will proceed to Itmad - ud - Daulah’s Tomb, the marble mausoleum built by Nur Jahan, the wife of Emperor Jahangir, in memory of her father, Ghiyas Beg. Also known as the ‘Baby Taj’, it is beautifully conceived in white marble, mosaic and lattice.
Later on, Proceed back to Delhi by India's finest expressway. A chauffeur will drop you at the hotel or at the airport for onward flight. Your tour ends here.

Sunny was the best tour guide ever! Awesome tour to see the best of Agra.
We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience! Our driver, Ravi, was prompt and kind. Our guide, Sandeep, was polite, humorous, and an exceptional story-teller. He made history come alive as we walked through the Taj Mahal. He got us past lines of people and set up great photo scenes for us. After the Taj Mahal, we went to Agra Fort, then for authentic Indian lunch away from where the tourist buses stop. I highly recommend this tour!
This tour was just as promised. Our driver picked us up in New Delhi at the hotel, it was a 3 hour drive to the Taj Mahal where we met our tour guide. From there we visited the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, with our tour guide doing a great job of getting the tickets, getting us around all the lines, and showing us all the good spots to get pictures. From there we went and saw a local artisan that made hand made stone goods. They were a little pushy and the prices are very expensive you just have to tell them you aren't interested. From there we went and had a buffet style lunch Indian food but very good. From there we got back in the car and it was about a 3.5 hour trip back to our hotel by the airport. Very good tour and experience.
Great day to see the magical Taj Mahal. Our driver was patient and drove us carefully to Agra, allowing for a quick pit stop along the way. Our guide Sandeep ensured we had a great time at the Taj and Agra Fort, kept the touts away from us, and took us to a fantastic place for lunch!! Overall, a long but fantastic day!
The Taj Mahal is nothing short of spectacular! Absolutely breathtaking! Probably the most beautiful thing I've seen on all my travels and I've been to a lot of places!
