Day 1 - New Delhi

The morning will be free for you to adapt to the time zone. Welcome lunch and orientation to the expedition. Overnight in New Delhi (L)

Day 2 - Varanasi

After breakfast walk through the old city of Delhi, the India Gate, then take flight to Varanasi. Welcome dinner. Overnight in Varanasi (B,D)

Day 3 - Varanasi

Photograph the sunrise and religious bathing ceremony in the sacred Ganges River. A short photo stop at the vegetable market. Walk through the oldest and most famous narrow winding streets of the city, where the human panorama is endless. Witness the Aarti, a ceremony of gratitude and devotion to the sunlight. Overnight in Varanasi (B)

Day 4 - Varanasi - Khajuraho

Flight to Khajuraho, home to the most famous temples. Later in the evening we will watch a “India Folk Dance – Live Show”. Overnight in Khajuraho (B)

Day 5 - Khajuraho - Jhansi-Orcha - Agra

Panna National Park for a sunrise photographic safari, then Jhansi and Orcha fort complex. At night train will leave for Agra. Overnight in Agra (B)

Day 6 - Agra

Morning walk in Agra. Shades of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna river. (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday). Overnight in Agra (B)

Day 7 - Agra

Free day. Overnight in Agra (B)

Day 8 - Agra - Jaipur

Photographing Taj Mahal in the gorgeous light of sunrise. Then leave for Fatehpur Sikri. Overnight in Jaipur (B)

Day 9 - Jaipur

Visit the top of Amber Hill. The busy Jaipur market, bustling with life. Dinner in Chokidhani. Overnight in Jaipur (B)

Day 10 - Jaipur - Pushkar

The morning will be free. After lunch explore the Valley of the Monkeys. Later, depart to Pushkar. Overnight in Pushkar (B)

Day 11 - Pushkar

Sunrise at Pushkar market. We’ll have amazing opportunities to capture images along the dunes and the lake. Overnight in Pushkar (B)

Day 12 - Pushkar - Delhi

After lunch we will depart on a journey to Delhi. The rest of the evening is free. Overnight in Delhi (B)

Day 13 - New Delhi

After breakfast, a visit to Jama Masjid and the Qutab Minar. Farewell dinner. Shuttle to the airport, end of the photographic expedition. (B,D)
