Your first stop will be at Har ki Pauri, Believed to be one the holiest Ghats in the country , Har ki Pauri is supposedly the first place where Ganga touched the plains, leaving behind the pristine ranges of the Himalayas. Visit Mansa Devi Temple ,also known as Bilwa Tirath , in the holy city of Haridwar . This site is believed to bestow blessings and fulfill every Mansa(wish) of its devotees. This is one of the five piligrimage destinations or Panch Tirath of Haridwar . This temple is the apex of the Siddh peeth triangle - Manga Devi, Chandi Devi and Maya Devi.

A popular landmark in Rishikesh ,Uttarakhand , this 450 ft long Jhula is built at a height of 70 ft from the river and is about 3 kms away from the main town of Rishikesh.
Visit Ram Jhula afterwards , an iron suspention bridge on the river Ganga in Rishikesh. Ram Jhula connects Muni ki Reti with Swargashram , serving as both a biking and pedestrian bridge. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant at your own cost and visit Sivananda Ashram , Parmath Niketan Temple , Gita Bhawan , Swarg Ashram , Ma Anandamayee Ashram , Sapt Rishi Ashram ,as well as the beatles Aashram.
In the evening near sunset you will visit Ganga Aarti at Haridwar . Thousands of peoples visit the ghats of the Ganga at Har ki Pauri at Haridwar to witness the aarti started several decades ago by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya. The tradition continues now unabated. The aarti is a sight to behold ; you on the opposing side of the banks you will see the priests start to moving the lamps in a rymthmic , clockwise direction. The reflection of the lamps then become visible on the waters of the Gangas. The mighty Ganga has a strong current which is indicative of its purpose in life -lovng uncoditionally all those who come to its banks. Sitting on the banks, you will be in awe of the river which has delivered so many from their sins. Finally you will be taken back to New Delhi and dropped to hotel/airport .
