Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi

Stop At: India Gate, Near Connaught Place New Delhi, New Delhi 110001 India
We will meet you at a location convenient to you (including airports) and transfer you to your hotel in the heart of Delhi. If time permits we will begin your detailed tour of the city, or let you rest and adjust to Incredible India! Whenever you are ready, you will be taken on a guided city tour of the best of Old and New Delhi.

Expect to the wowed at historical sites of the city such as Qutab Minar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Estate), Parliament House, and Secretariat building.

Day 2: Delhi

Stop At: Red Fort (Lal Quila), Netaji Subhash Marg, New Delhi 110002 India
We will also show you monuments of the different eras, including a visit to a Hindu temple of Laxmi, the Goddess of Wealth; the magnificent Red Fort (exterior); Jama Masjid, one of Asia's largest mosques; Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the "Father of the Nation".

You’ll see many sights of the city and have a chance to try bartering in a local market. Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride in Old Delhi and experiences off the usual tourist track. After a busy 2 days sightseeing, we will return to your Delhi hotel each night.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Stop At: Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Yamuna River, Agra 282001 India
Take an early Breakfast at your hotel, then drive south east of to the famous city of Agra, the home of the Taj Mahal. We will spend this first afternoon in Agra showing you the best sights of the city.

Visit Agra’s Red Fort and the halls of private and public; Itimad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) described as a 'Jewel Box' and often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. We will also visit a marble factory to witness the inlay work of precious stones and discover how the Taj Mahal was created. It's a learning experience, and a treat to the eyes. Overnight at a hotel in Agra.

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur

Stop At: Taj Mahal, Agra 282001 India
Witness the stunning dawn-view visit of Taj Mahal, the best time to visit the Taj and discover the wonder of marble that seems to change colours as the sun rises. A UNESCO World Heritage Site that was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is best viewed and enjoyed in the peaceful early morning.

Stop At: Fatehpur Sikri India
We will then drive to Jaipur, stopping on the way to visit historic buildings including Fatehpur Sikri, the capital of the Mughal Empire built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 yet abandoned 15 years later due to scarcity of water.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, we will check you into your hotel and offer you a chance to rest. Jaipur is the home of Hathroi and we would love to show you more of the city of jewels in the evening.

Day 5: Jaipur

Stop At: Amber Fort Palace, Jaipur 302021 India
Breakfast at your hotel is followed by an excursion to the majestic Amber Fort. If you wish you can take an Elephant Safari from the bottom to the top. This is the only fort where you can travel by an elephant like a true Maharaja!

Then visit Jaigarh Fort and Tiger Fort on the way to Water Palace. Take time to shop in this famous city of gems and jewels, or enjoy a walk in the colourful bazaar. In the evening, experience sunset from the mesmerising Birla Temple. Overnight at a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 6: Jaipur - Delhi

Stop At: 2 Gandhi Memorial Hall Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi 110002 India
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel before we drive back to Delhi and a location of your choosing.
